Wow! What an event, full of top-class Exotica bands, combined with interesting lectures, discussions and awesome movies,and all in the heart of Berlin. The beatiful weather bewitched the green spaces of the "Haus der Kulturen der Welt" with a South-Sea-Flair
and created through it the basis of four days filled with Tiki. Three lovely decorated stalls were building a circle and arranged as a little Polynisean village, with a four meters tall Tiki standing guard. A lot of visitors from all around the globe were enjoying the event and we had the opportunity to meet some pretty nice people at the Forbidden Paradise stall. The festival became a little Forbidden Paradise meeting as more and more of our artists came to visit Berlin, like Moritz R., Kahuna Kawentzmann, Martin Hofbauer, Viviana Del Rio, I Belli di Waikiki, DJ Lemon Squeezer, Michael Hanauer and Haikai.
The true highlight of the event was surely friday, when I Belli di Waikiki from Italy were heating up the crowd with tunes from the South Sea and Don Tiki from Honolulu becharmed even the last stranded friend of the Islands with his breathtaking show.
Again Tiki proved itself as a topic which can easily enchant all different people and presented itself from one of its best sides at Germany´s first Tiki festival.
